    What book do you always turn to when looking for a good read?

    I know that there are certain books that I'll always go back to, but I'm curious to see what other people love. Tell me what book is the most worn on your bookshelf. What world do you get lost in the most?

    All answers welcome! I'm looking to build a library.

    Magic Hour by Susan Isaacs.  Rich characters, a storyline that impacts me every time, a the joy of reading a really good story teller.  It's a who-done-it with a surprise ending that makes sense.  The ending is not just a convenient way for the author to bring the story to a close.  It adds to the fullness of the story development.  I read it about once a year for the pleasure of it and to learn something new - every time - about being a good writer.  Sorry to say, none of her other dozen or so books come close to the quality of this one.  But I know she has it in her, so I watch for and buy all her new books, hoping for another Magic Hour.
