I write four very different blogs, which I would like to promote through one portal. Everyone tells me you can't promote anything beyond a single niche. I don't believe it. Hub Pages and other similar sites certainly attract readers even though they cover a much wider array of subjects than any one Hub Pages writer ever can. Also, I think I have read that it is "outside readers," not Hubbers, that actually make the site its money.
So what is it that attracts readers here? Or more to the point, what is it that attracts *customers* to Hub Pages and similar sites.
To put the question a little differently, if you were marketing a site like Hub Pages, how would you describe its target audience?

Is there a way to include a hyperlink to another website without transfering the user away from Hubpages? In other words, is there a way to force a new window so that the original page is still present?

I have been on Hub Pages about a year and I have written about 27 Hubs and they have received close to 5000 views, which I felt was not bad and my status hovers between 82-88. Last week I had about 8 of my Hubs...

Is porn O.K. on hub pages? I have seen some Hubpages that have nothing more than pictures. Most of them from India. What's that all about? Nothing more than photos. I don't get it. ...
