Abandoned on the floor sobbing. Once light-hearted and fun, now an empty shell. She felt herself falling into a cavernous abyss. No hope for the future. No peace with the past. Just a heart, melting like wax, barely left beating inside her chest. She was disappearing. The night had nothing on her. No more color, not even grays and whites; a thing of the past. Darker than a moonless night. She faded into nothingness.
