Why would hubpages remove a point when I post a new hub?  The content has never been online...

before, except in my email and google searching very specific lines from it don't turn up anything.  I even went through old Myspace and Xanga accounts to make certain.

Your hubber score and individual hub scores fluctuate a lot, so don't worry about losing a point. Keep writing and your scores will go up smile

As I observed, hubscore will be 49 if you just save the hub unpublished and then publish it. I suggest publishing it first and then editing again if modifications are needed. This happens even your hub contents are good.

I faced this in some of my hub, now those hubs are showing hubscore of 70+. So don’t worry about the initial hubscore.

Okay, thank you.  I made certain not to save anything before publishing it.
