    "Dino's from Space" is about taking care of the earth. It's aimed at preschoolers. It's featured in my latest KID LIT hub.

    Unless the books discuss the fact that overpopulation is the cause of deteriorating ecology, they are just useless feel-good crap.

    The Lorax by Dr. Seuss is about ecology and how humans can screw it up.  It's aimed at about 5-10 years olds, although my toddler already loves it.

    Lynne Cherry's books encourage children to think ecologically. Some of her creations include "The Great Kapok Tree," "The Sea, the Storm, and the Mangrove Tangle," and "How Groundhog's Garden Grew."
