Welcome, sswathi! What do you consider the greatest book you have ever read?
It is difficult to identify the single greatest book that one might have read for such a book must be so complete in every way that a person can relate to it in every circumstance of their life. To me, such a book is The Bhagwad Gita in which Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna that this life is a battle and we are the warriors bound by our duties where we have only right and control over our actions not the results. A man must therefore perform his duty with complete devotion for there in lies his salvation. The philosophy of work is worship has never been explained so well as in this book.
The Bible.... hands down! And I do love to read, fiction history, fiction romance, biographies, etc. But there is none better, it covers every area of life and offers personal hope.

I decided at the beginning of this year that I would read more but I do believe that, like wine, life is too short to read bad books!I have recently purchased the kindle app on my iphone and am keen to purchase but I can't see the wood for the trees!

What was the name of the worst book you've ever read? Some people point to Moon People. Others mention the numerous post-apocalyptic "Survivalist" tales. Either way, there are tons and tons bad books out there. What's your least favorite?

What is the best fiction or non fiction book you have ever read?I'm in a constant search for good reads, and I found it infinitely easier and more rewarding if I just ask other people what their favorites are (kinda like asking a waiter/waitress what their favorite meal on the menu is... you can...
