I see that you are an avid blogger so have you written for any other forums online before?
No, this is the first time. I'm trying to get my foot in the door as a freelance writer/blogger, and I'm having trouble finding agencies interested in writer's without experience. I'm hoping hubpages will help me gain experience and make contacts. I do have the two blogs mentioned in my profile, which are more for personal use rather than professional, and I have another blog I use solely for school. Thanks for asking! I'm excited to see where this new endeavor will take me. Right now, it's midnight and I'm just sitting on the couch trying it out, but some of my biggest successes have gotten started that way, so we shall see!
I write, therefore I am. I have always written, it's just an integral part of who I am. Although, I didn't start blogging until after my novel Moon Dance was released in late January. Since then I have joined a number of social networks to promote both my book and myself as a writer. I have really loved the blogging experience both as a writer and a reader. There are some very talented and interesting writers amongst us. I appreciate this question and the opportunity to share a little about myself with a wider audience. I write on several social networks and repost a lot of my writing on other social networks. I write on hubpages, blogspot, my website, and I have an author page on librarything.com, amazon.com, and facebook. Ialso share on twitter and my space. I have tried a few attempts at making videos on youtube and had some success. My biggest being a short video of Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey at the Kerrville Folk Festival in early June. I'll share a few of my networking sites, and I hope all our readers will choose to visit one or more:

This may be more than a few, but hey opportunity knocks, so I open the door!

I have to issue a grovelling apology here, I stuffed up mightily. I posted an explanation of how to claim authorship with Google, and made one small but extremely important mistake. For those who followed...

Of all the material you have ever written, what is your favorite piece? What was the subject matter? Outside of drive and determination, did one of your traits, specifically, contribute to its completion?

For me, there have been several things that have surprised me:1. I didn't expect HP to be so much work. Honestly, I came in expecting to churn out a few, quick hubs and make some money. But I quickly learned that in...
