What keeps you writing when you keep recieving reject letters?
There's a passion that you the writer have that's so powerfull that won't let you give up even after being rejected a lot.
I have heard of people wallpapering their bathroom with them. I put mine in a file named "publication correspondence" because I don't want to open the drawer and see the word "rejections".
In truth, though, rejections are proof that you are trying. Didn't JK Rowling get hundreds of them or something?
An unholy hatred for all life and the far-fetched hope to drown the editor under the sheer number of your submissions until he either relents or is mummified beneath them.
