Write from the heart. Without passion, whatever you happen to be writing about on the infinite number of topics will inevitably be drivel. Passion is what makes life worth living, the same goes for writing and reading.
I don't know if I have an awesome hub... but I always write from the heart. I write what I feel like writing at the moment and it makes me feel that I am home... Happy hubbing!
I suppose it depends on the purpose of your hub. If you're writing info articles, definitely write with your intended audience in mind. Be sure you are clear.
If you're writing for yourself...go buck wild.
My #1 tip for awesome hubs - in line with the rest of them - be passionate about it
Write at least 400-1000 words, and try and use good grammar with paragraphs so its easier to read. Add a picture, polls etc.
