Who or what touches your soul?

   Who or what touches your soul?
   
   Perhaps we are better writers for being able to answer this question?  Perhaps not.  Either way it might just provoke some thoughts.  I stuggle with this as just when I think I know the answer it shifts and I have to start over again.

   God touches my soul, children and animals and Nature touch my soul, talent touches my soul, and music.

   Music in particular touches my soul. Beautiful melodic voices also.
   I find that small children, gorgeous flowers, smelling freshly cut grass, sea spray and mist, the huge welcome I get from my husband and dogs when I arrive home,and lastly that sense of fulfillment and simple happiness one gets from the beautification of one's personal space.
   I find that all these gifts from God touch my soul and contribute to those hard-to-define but deeply emotive, momentary feelings of joy.

   Whatever knocks upon it's door. Sometimes rain, sometimes  sun. Every living thing and every dying thing. What ever should be and whatever shouldn't. What ever the heart or mind can imagine. Everything touches, but, not everything is allowed to stay.

   Music, guitar, nature, the love of my life, my parents, and something else I cannot explain. The subtle essence that hangs in everyday life, the ability to think and be thought of, for a human mind to communicate with itself, and be able to KNOW that these things are touching the soul. I think that ability is one of the finer things in life. I think it is one of the things that separates us from the animals and makes us human, although, even some of the finest men were brought down to the level of animals..so not even this essence can save a human soul. Sorry, that got way off topic. But you know what I mean lol

   My dreams, my spirit, my faith, my love for family and friends.
   
   Life touches my soul with inspirational dreams. Music touches my soul while it opens up my heart. Family touches my soul when I see a newborn baby. My spirit touches my soul with a gentle whisper to tell me I have been designed for a purpose.
   
   What a great question. You opened up my soul to write.

   Allah,prayer and mosque touche my soul. My mother's voice, father's ideal, niece's eyes, cool breezes, oceans,flowers, my dreams, sprites, sufferings of poverty,  touch my soul.
