I do not know if there is a traditional way to organize a book of short stories. Each of my books has a theme: They each take place in a different geographical area. They are tales of terror. Each book will have sections: One for assorted stories taking place in that area, and then a section for stories that are a series dealing with the same family or community. You can visit the blog to my first book of short stories to get a bit better idea of what I am doing.
Organize your book in an artistic manner. You should save the longest for the ends, so reader can lead into them. Remember, the reader will read the next story remembering the last, so maybe even tell a story within a story.

Hi, I was just wondering if hubpages is a good place to publish short stories? If so, what kind? Would there be an interest in Christian short stories?

I truly love the short story, and often wonder why there aren't more authors in the genre. Is it a lack of interest by the readers, or the writers, or both? Am I wrong, and why? Any thoughts on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
