What is your daily writing goal?

Mine is 1000 words a day, although I do not always achieve this goal.

Write 2 hubs a day, and at least 1000 words for my fiction piece, even if it is absolutely horrendous.

Just to write something each day.  Nothing specific at all.

Create/find potential hub ideas and start it up without publishing. If I've got the time, I'd complete it.

My goal is more for a week or month, since my schedule doesn't always allow time to write each day at length. I am active on the Hubs each day; I answer questions or comments, whether I write a hub or not. That keeps me informed on what's going on here and keeps me motivated.

Since I self-inflicted the goal of 30 hubs in 30 days, that's my broader goal. So far, I've done 10 in a bit less than a week, so I'm on track. Once I reach the 30, I'll expand the goal to the next level (100? Haven't decided yet). I'm still in a huge learning curve for the site, and that takes time, too. I try to write quality hubs that are well-written, with solid information, and as attractive as I can make them in terms of photos, etc.  I do NOT want to just slap up a few hundred words and call it a finished piece; I've seen some of that on various websites (here a bit, and elsewhere); I feel it's an injustice to our readers, and to advertisers.

As for my 'other' writing - I want to get my goals here under control before I tackle fiction or other projects.

I would like to write every day.  And if I can't I want to at the very least think of an article to write

Generally, I don't have one since I do so much writing and communicating in my job. HP is kind of where I am trying to improve my writing and explore different methods. This year my goal was to write a Hub everyday, and I'm a few behind on that. However, I keep trying and keep thinking of ways to be innovative, both in the writing I do at work, and the writing I do in my own time. Together, I feel pretty good about my writing goals. Good luck with yours!

My goal is to write at least one, if not two, a week. Although with my new work schedule I may have to adjust life to allow some quiet time where I can get to my place of solitude to do this. I think the time it takes to put ideas together, and research where needed, is where I need to improve through the next couple of months.  Good question and one that forces goal setting!

I will love to read a lot daily and express 1/10th of the volume I read daily.

    I don't generally keep a goal for writing.I write whatever I like.
Sometimes its 5 posts a day and sometimes it nothing for 5 days. So, I am quite unsure of my posts.
But as long as I keep getting new, innovative ideas , I am there writing something.
    Thank you,
