    How to write/set out a novel?

    I've always wanted a novel/story, and I've never wanted to do it more than now. However I've got no clue as to how to write it or set it out. I've contemplated on writing it out like a screenplay but then again I've never done that either so I hope someone will be able to give a newbie tips on how to write it. ALL HELP VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

    I wrote a hub about how to write a novel, if you're interested. But my two biggest pieces of advice for people getting started are; don't be afraid to write crap and don't be afraid to copy from your favorite stories. Getting the novel from point A to point B is one of the hardest parts, and if you get hung up on things like 'I don't think this is good enough' or 'a book has already done this' then you'll never get to the end. The most important thing is to keep that pen (or keyboard) moving until it's done. You can always edit it later; but you can't edit something that isn't there. First drafts are never good, and the sooner we accept it, the faster (and more efficiently) we write.

    that is a very tricky question! there are many ways to start writing anovel/story. When ever i being to write a story, i start to think of my own life. I have found out that if hat you are writing has been linked to a imortion/ life changing, its a little easyer to write about. it also helps to incorptae you daily life into you story/novel as well =]
