Superman has already beaten the hulk in a Marvel vs. DC crossover series. Of course, Superman and Spider-Man have fought to a draw in another crossover. Hmmmm......I guess flagship characters are more important than strength in a fight.
Although if there was no marketing involved, I would put my money on Superman because the flying. speed and heat vision give him a tactical advantage.
Not to mention it would depend on which version of the hulk that superman was fighting. if superman fought the stupid version of hulk where he was all brawn and no brains, then superman would simply have to outsmart him using his super intelligence.
yes, superman will win because he can fly and he has super power too. Hulk depends on his strength only.
