   Stephenie Meyer is an unequivocal hack. However, you've got to admire the success she's achieved.
   
   No, not every love story is better than Twilight. There are awful romance novels, bad coming-of-age stories, and even terrible real life love stories.

      I think you guys are not getting the real point. The novel is amazing however the producer and directors could not make the movie as good as the novel. Can you imagine what would the movie would look like if it was directed by James Cameron ?

      The movie follows the same plot as the novels do. The novels are not that fantastic. Especially when compared to recent teen literature. I liked the series as a teenager, then I grew up and got a loving boyfriend and a healthy relationship.

   I don't think every love story is better than Twilight.  I actually really enjoy the book.  Basically, the story is a standard love story: forbidden love.  Obviously a human should not fall in love with a vampire.  For some reason, people love a story about two opposities attracting.  Throw in a science fiction aspect to a love story, and it is a hit.

      Well people are actually talking about the movie. No doubt the book is amazing but the movie series was not good.

      There is the same "love story" in the book as in the movie. I find it to be popular among people who either have never had a relationship or have never been in a good one.

   Most love stories are better love stories than Twilight.
   
   Yes Twilight has the theme of forbidden love but once you get past that and actually look at the relationship it's just Edward controlling Bella's every move. He leaves her and she goes catatonic for months on end and starts trying to kill herself in hopes that she can feel something from him again. It's especially frustrating when she actually had a guy who cared for her at her side all along and she just kept throwing him away for this "forbidden" love.
   
   Then Edwards gets her knocked up and she ends up dying due to the half-vampire baby she's carrying.

   I wouldn't say every love story is better than "Twilight"; just the ones that DON'T involve the heroine getting caught in a disgusting relationship with a guy who is possessive, causes her to get suicidal, and let's face it: whether he drinks animal blood or not, HOW can living with a vampire be healthy?
