Have you ever gotten into a situation you think you could or should have avoided ?
yet you walked right into the lion's mouth ? only to find out at the end you should have avoided it .
There is a general perspective and a personal one to your question. If I had to answer your question from a general perspective then I'd say that one should be wary of troublesome situations in life and only get into it if it is absolutely necessary, for instance, if somebody you care for is involved into it.
From a personal perspective I'd say that there come situations in life when you simply cannot afford to skip by or avoid a troublesome situation or circumstance for the sake of your family. Something similar happened with me several years back and it was not nice, that's all I'll say.
