Cinquain - think cinco or five.Five lines with specific rules or patterns to the poem.first pattern goes like this: one word, two words, three words, four words, one word.Example:QuestionsNever DumbUnlike never askingWhich keeps you dumb.Answers!second pattern goes like this: one noun, two adjectives, three "ing" words, followed by a phrase, then a final noun.Example: PieFruity, WarmEating, Delighting, FinishingNary a bite leftDessertthe third pattern is syllable-based: 2, then 4, then 6, then 8, then back to 2.Example:PuppyLovable muttPlayful, cute and messyNone of my clothes or shoes surviveNeed plants.It's easy & fun -- just don't ask me to pronounce cinquain.
