What can I do to improve my poetry?
English is not my first language. So I find it a bit hard to use fluttery words. Such as similes and metaphors. I always seem to run out of those.
I do not prefer to write my poetry on my original language because I feel as though my piece is inadequate, lacking, and it just not suit my way of writing. So any suggestions would really help and is really appreciated.
I would read some of the works of the great English poets: Keats, Blake, Shakespeare, Walter Scott; Wordsworth... read Frost, Whitman, Dickinson... practice...practice and practice again.
I can help you with English Grammar, flow, consistency...send me one poem. email@example.com.
Also put one in the forum threads and ask for guidance. Much Love.
