Hi, Anupama. I agree with your views regarding the book. We can't go by the reviews while selecting our Books. Reviews often tend to be moody and personal.
I do not go by the reviews while procuring a book. I simply read the preview provided by the sellers or, at times, simply the Title and the back page of the book. So, most of my selections are always the best for me.
Presently I am reading the Northern Lights by Philip Pullman. I came to know that they made a movie of this book titled "The Golden Compass". I will watch that movie after completing this book. It takes 15 to 20 days for me to read a book @60 minutes per day.
I am watching movies or series also for 50 minutes a day. Presently watching the Big Band Theory. It may take some six months for me to completely watch these 12 Seasons. So, I have to take a break for watching any particular movie that I like to watch immediately.
Thanks a lot, Venkatachari-san, for posting the article here. You are right—there's no point in depending on the personal views of a reviewer.
It’s pouring today here in Chennai, and I was actually looking for movies to watch. I’ll watch Golden Compass:-)
It is raining here also in Bangalore with light to heavy showers throughout the day. My blessings to you.

When writing a book review, when titling it, is it best to put the title first or author? Why?

I've attempted 2 hubs that are book reviews. I enjoyed writing them both, as I love to read, but neither has really gotten any traffic... and the scores are lower than I'm used to seeing. It was my first attempt at book reviews, and I'm wondering if I've missed the mark somewhere.Any...
