You gave so much! ~

All Living creatures should know! ~

 It was through Gods unconditional~

 Guiding love~

That~

 Made it so!

Close knit your family~

Praying and learning compassion~

Homeless when there was a war~

This un-be-enounced to you~

Started your life’s mission and more!

 

Your father stationed in Singapore~

A toy chimpanzee and pets galore~

Living in a seaside town~

Learning to be patient and alone~

Bombs and a Holocaust impressed on you~

 Your whole life long!

 

Mom suggested skills~

 So a secretary you did become~

Than to Kenya you did finally go! ~

The open sea~

Unbolted your power and your soul! ~

You knowing we all have it at hand~

 If only we would succumbed!

A saint you are~

Saintly we can all become!

 

Always reminded still of mans inhumanity~

 To man~

Off digging you did go~

While the Lord still stood utmost in your path~

The creator of all ~

 Human beings and all living things~

 Are one!

 

The jungle called~

You went willingly~

 Living all with great bravery~

For your place was to be established~

 In the forest’s silent breeze wavering.

 

Through sickness and trials~

 You fought your way well~

Having no fear as friends in spirit advised~

Standing by your side ~

As you went through a type of hell~

You still grew wise.

 

Sitting still and meditating~

 Made your calling clear~

For the first Chimp to come~

 Wandering near.

 

He showed you how tools would work~

He showed you emotions~

He demonstrated behaviors~

 Before we were ever made~

 Or had words spoken.

 

Credentials as well as teaching~

 Gave you a higher self esteem~

This all helped you be potentially~

 Apart of a bigger team~

However “what did you care if not?” ~

It was your lot to lead!

 

Your sister and you could not remember~

 A human face~

But how God gave you the gift to love, cherish~

 And know every chimpanzee’s every saving grace!

 

You married a photographer~

 And with him bore a son~

Which took you down another path~

 As motherhood is number one!

 

Failure came to thee~

 With much guilt at your door~

While down the road you were strengthened~

 By a belief in a spiritual power to live for!

 

Prominent internationally you now became~

Appalled at what we humans~

 Can be only to blame!

 Sometimes by doing nothing at all!

 

Married again now to another beloved~

 Whom lost his life too soon~

A serious crisis spiritually~

Your God you questioned now too!

 

Alas your friends the chimps~

 Showed you life acceptance with ease~

Dreams of comfort came also~

 To you did please.

 

Yes you know what we are about~

What humans have more than chimps~

We have knowledge to be responsible~

 For actions new and in the past.

 

You urge us with your foresight~

You teach us with your knowledge~

You have created new avenues to be aware~

You encourage us down the right path~

To hold Gods animals revered~

To save our forest and preserve our land!

 

Humans you know have~

 Mental ability to support the good~

The wisdom not to separate us~

 From those that are different~

 Or misunderstood.

 

You watched and endured personal losses~

As you survived! ~

Your belief in a greater power helped~

 You hold on to the best of life!

 

Through all adversities you knew of God’s words~

“As thy days, so shall thy strength be”

You lived your journey through spiritual hope~

Knowing the knowledge that God gave to~

 Humans to hold~

 We should care for all His resources and~

 Creatures~

 As they are precious as gold!
