Bed Bath and Beyond is a home goods store headquartered in Union, New Jersey, that was founded in 1971. Over the past 40 years the store has grown from a place to buy sheets and towels to a home goods superstore that carries window treatments, housewares, small appliances, home decor items, gourmet food products, candy, and candles in addition to household linens.

Finding BBB Coupons

Bed Bath and Beyond coupons are easy to get, but it does take some planning. The company periodically sends out 20% or $5 off coupons to customers who have signed up for their mailing list. The company also has an email list which it uses to send customers coupon codes that can be used to save 10 to 15% on an online order. Coupon codes are also sent out by text message. You can sign up for coupon delivery on the official site here.

If you don't have time to wait for a coupon in the mail, there are several strategies you can use:

  • Check last week's Sunday paper. Bed Bath and Beyond frequently publishes coupons in newspapers.
  • Bring a competitor's coupon to the store; many Bed Bath and Beyond stores honor competitors' coupons.
  • Ask at the register; some stores keep coupons there for customers who ask.

Bed Bath and Beyond is very "coupon-friendly." Some stores will honor expired coupons, and some will allow you to save the receipt and bring it back with the coupon at a later date for a refund.

Products You Can't Use BBB Coupons For

While the coupons can be used on most of the products sold in the store, there are some manufacturers who don't want their products discounted further than the listed price. These include All-clad, Alessi, DKNY, Dyson, kate spade, Kosta Borda, Miele, Monique, Lhuillier, Mambe, Nautica, Orrefors, Riedel, Shun, Skybar, Swarovski, T-Tech, Vera Wang, Vitamix, Waterford, Wusthof, or Zwilling, Baby Jogger, BEABA, BOB, Britax strollers, Bugaboo, Bumbleride, ERGObaby, Maxi-Cosi, Mountain Buggy, Mutsy, nap nanny, Orbit Baby, Pediped, Peg Perego, Quinny, Robeez, Svan, Teutonia, and Uppa Baby.

BBB also prohibits the use of its coupons on baby furniture, diapers, wipes, baby food, portrait studio services and baby formula.

Expiration Dates

While all BBB coupons have expiration dates, only the online codes have the dates in forced regularly. Most stores will accept coupons regardless of the date. This can be helpful when making purchases of multiple items, as BBB's policy permits up to 5 coupons to be used per transaction. Therefore, if you have 5 coupons for 20% off a single item, you can use all 5 in one transaction as long as you purchase 5 items.
