Feng Shui of Wealth: Adopting a New Attitude

What is wealth?

Feng Shui pays special attention to the wealth: its accumulation as well as its preservation. A casual observer might think that Feng Shui practitioners are greedy and crazy about material things. This is very far from being true.
The wealth in Feng Shui is not about big money. In Feng Shui wealth is first of all associated with the prosperity and the absence of poverty, which can be theoretically attained on any financial level. Actually, Feng Shui admits that there are different kinds of wealth and that there are many ways to become wealthy, and that people are different as far as their needs and desires are concerned.

Starting with practiсe

If you aspire to increase your revenue, to add zeros to your earnings and to get higher dividends from your investments, Feng Shui will give your efforts a new dimension. Here, just like anywhere in your life, Feng Shui cannot replace a common sense and practical actions. It cannot guarantee wealth and can hardly help you if you undertake nothing to provide for the financial wellness. But if you have solid knowledge of economics, if you can define your goals correctly and work actively to attain them, Feng Shui can be a lot of help. If your goal is financial well-being, examine your financial life first. Make a list of practical ways to increase your revenues and to cut your expenses. Analyse your investments and their utility. Then consider the possible ways to increase the dividends. These pragmatic steps must become first ones on your way to the wealth.
Now evaluate your attitude towards money. Probably, you keep worrying about the fact that you have not enough means even though your revenues have been growing on a stable basis during the last ten years? Aren’t you feeling disgusted when considering your financial state? Many of us endure poverty not because of the real state of our finance, but because of our attitude towards money.
If we keep fearing that we are not able to satisfy our financial needs, we’ll never believe that we have enough money, even when we have millions in our bank account. Probably, the problem isn’t related to your bank account, but to your attitude towards money and your way of thinking. If you burden your financial health with a negative attitude towards money, you should first understand it, because Feng Shui can hardly help you in this situation.

Clarify your financial needs

Now regard your financial needs and desires and decide how much will be enough for you. There are no rules saying that you must stop collecting wealth, when these goals are attained, they only declare from the start what sum you wish to reach. Remember that the better you clarify your goals, the sooner you can attain them. What do you see as your final destination? Where do you see yourself? Visualise the lifestyle that you would like to have.
If you have attained your goals, you will probably continue to live according to the same standards as today, but you can also leave your work and undertake your favorite business, which is your true passion, to spend more time with your family or to get involved in charity. Probably, you imagine, how you are going to spend the extra revenue on charity. You may have as many reasons as you want to collect money, and they have nothing to do with greed or egoism.
Now look realistically at what you have today. Enumerate the things that you need to change to come from point A to point B, and dedicate yourself to their fulfillment. Enumerate personal qualities that attract wealth: self-confidence, wholeness of character, knowledge, ambitions, hardworking, and estimate the presence of these qualities in yourself. Work on developing the qualities that you consider weak.
When you can say honestly and openly that your attitude to the finance is healthy, and that you can make practical steps to attain wealth, you can address Feng Shui to reinforce your efforts. However, if you find it hard to clarify the situation on your own, you can start with creating good Feng Shui in your home and office, that can help you feel better. Remember that your personal space influences your personal energy.

How to attract the chi of wealth

Feng Shui is closely related to the culture that created it. The Chinese folklore is closely related to the symbols of wealth. Use them to attract wealth, to stimulate money flow and to underline your attention as far as financial issues are concerned.

Clean the wealth sector from the stale chi

It is extremely important to be aware of the factors that can influence the chi of your wealth sector. Any negative, drying or stale elements can affect your financial health in a very negative way. One student of Feng Shui was complaining about his financial state. His business seemed to go well, but the checks never came on time. After learning more about Feng Shui, he realized that in the middle of his wealth sector in his house and in his study there were several boxes with old papers. He threw these useless documents away the very next day and later on he found out that the checks began to come regularly together with the money that he did not expect. The wealth sector is in the north-west of the bagua, the imaginary net that covers your home or rooms.

Green money trees

Money trees remind us of fruitful wealth thanks to the shape of their leaves - juicy and coin-shaped. Place these money magnets at home or at work - especially in the wealth sector. These plants can be placed in any room.

Gods and spiritual teachers

You can reinforce your career by attracting the blessings of your spiritual teachers and the spirits that are close to your religious tradition: God, Allah, Jesus Christ, Saint Mary, Buddha, saints, guardian-angels. Don’t be shy to ask them for directions and wisdom to learn the highest truths (if you are religious, this will be the first necessary step, and not just an instrument of reinforcement). Place the figures of saints in your living room, in your dining room or in your kitchen or study.

Bamboo

Strong and straight, full of life and a powerful symbol of wealth and growth, bamboo grows up all the time, just as like, hopefully, our wealth will grow. Put a tall bamboo plant in the sector of wealth. Bamboo is often decorated with red and golden ribbons and other symbols of financial prosperity. Bamboo is extremely effective, wherever it is placed. In many countries bamboo grows outside. Plant the stems of bamboo where you can see them from your bagua wealth sector (north-west). It is better to plant the bamboo in pots, though, to keep it well in control.

The music of the spheres or the crystal balls

Hang the music of the spheres or cut crystal balls of different colours that correspond to the six syllables of Buddha mantra (Om Ma Ni Pad Me Hum - white, red, yellow, green, blue and black) in the helpers’ sector of your home (south-east).
These objects help you to attract the helpers who can bring you a promotion and a better-paid job. These supportive people can also become an instrument that will help you find a well-paid job. Hang the music of the spheres on the outer side of the eaves of your house. On the lacking corners inside your house you can also add the music of the spheres or crystal balls.
