Homemade All Purpose Cleaner

Why would I want to make my own cleaner when there are some many commercial cleaning options available at the store? The answer for me was simple, as a mother with small children, I enjoy making my own cleaner because I know what is in it. I like knowing that they won't be harmed by coming in contact with it, and it is a huge bonus that it is better for the environment. They have to live on this planet after I'm gone, and I like to help do my part to keep it nice. The truth is that the average kitchen and bathroom don't need harsh or dangerous chemicals to keep them clean, so why use them? Sure, you could buy a commercial "green" cleaner at the store, but in my experience they are far more expensive than their chemical laden counterparts, and contain ingredients you can easily find in your local store.

You will need these things

1. 2 tsp Borax
2. 3 c hot water
3. 1 c white vinegar
4. 1 tbsp castile soap
5. 20 drops tea tree oil
6. 10 drops lemon oil

Combine all ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well. Shake occasionally before using.
