Hamilton Beach Hits It On The Head With An Opening Station
My son asked me what I wanted for my Birthday. I told him an electric can opener would be a good gift for me, as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and the hand held can openers are getting to hard for me to use. I can not even crank the handle on them anymore.
My son got me the Hamilton Beach OpenStation Electric Can Opener, and I just love it! It"s not just an electric can opener to my surprise. It comes with a few handy attachments tools to open pop top cans, jars , glass bottles caps, and plastic bottle caps. There is also a cutting blade for plastic packaging. I also like the fact that it comes in black, which matches my coffee pot. The design of the can opener is cute as well. And of course it is made by Hamilton Beach, which is a trusted brand name in my book, plus I have owned their products in the past, and have had good luck with them. So I don't have any complaints on the reliability of Hamilton Beach products.
The Hamilton Beach Open Station Can Opener comes with a handy little booklet, which gives you all the info you need to know about the can opener. It comes in three languages, English,French and Spanish.
The booklet goes over all the Important Safeguards of the can opener. As well as the parts and features, and with pictures of the parts and tools. The booklet also explains how to use the can opener. It will also show you how to use the Grip and grab,also the openmate tools. Both are a great help for my Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is very painful,and weakens the wrists and fingers,making it very impossible to open jars, bottles and pop top cans. It I great for the elderly as well,because they have a hard time opening things as well.
So I have used the tools many times so far,and they have worked great. The tools have proved to be a life saver for me. Otherwise I would not of been able to open things. I know that I am going on about the tools, but the plastic bottle opener tool beats opening a soda bottle with a pair of small vice scripts, which I had been using.
As for the main can opener itself. It works great! I love it, and I have used it many times already. The magnet has a good grip on the can,and holds it all the way through the cutting of the can. And the lids are smooth,with no jagged edges. It also opens many different size cans with ease, so there is no need to worry or struggle with the cans. We have had this problem at my job with cheap can openers that do not work well.And also wear out fast. They say you get what you pay for,and let's just say my boss is cheap and we have been through many can openers in the last few years. And I just told him the other day about my new Hamilton Beach can opener,.as our cheap one is on it's way out.
