The Blessings A Family Brings

My family has been blessed and brings me much joy. I love spending time with them and love when they come to visit me whether it is one family at a time are all of them at once. In the last 7 years all four of my children have gotten married and now each have two children. Since all 8 grandchildren are 3 and under it has doubled in size of our family in just 3 years. My kids and grandkids all love spending time together too and so we try to all get together several times a year.

Since there are 8 little ones all 3 and under it is quite a challenge having adequate space for everyone. When they all come to my house, it is difficult to be able to seat everyone for a meal as I do not have a very large house. The two and three year olds do not want to sit in high chairs anymore and I would not have room for multiple high chairs around my table either. I have a friend who had a little picnic table that she brought out when her grandkids came over and I really liked it so I decided to purchase a children’s folding picnic table like the one she had for myself. It provides both a table for them to seat at to play on in the living room and then it can easily be moved to the kitchen area for a table for them to eat on

The last four grandchildren are all under a year and are not old enough to need a table to sit at yet, but I am planning on getting a second table when they get old enough. Then I will be able to seat all of them. It is fun for them to be able to sit together too.

The really nice thing about this table is that it folds up to about 3” wide and is so easy to store when they have gone home and then it is easy to set up when they come.

When they come to visit grandma, the first thing they want me to do is to get the table out for them to play on. They like to sit and read books and put puzzles together. Since the table if made of a molded plastic, it is easy to wipe off when they play with play dough or when they have spills eating their dinner. It is so much fun to watch them play and interact with each other sitting at this table. Children love having things that are just their size. I also have a children’s recliner that they love to sit in because it is just their size also.

Since the table folds to a manageable size it can be easily taken along when we gather at some other place like a picnic area, a motel or a vacation lodge. The height is adjustable too so it will work for them for several years. I wouldn’t be without my folding picnic table. It is one of the best purchases I have made.
