Usually we have vegetables from the garden in our freezer during the winter months. But this...
year there is nothing in our freezer. Would it be ok to unplug it until we do have something to put in it?
As long as the freezer is totally empty, it's fine to unplug it. Just remember to prop the lid open a hair so there is some air circulation. If you don't, when you are ready to use it again, the freezer will smell and will require a washing and airing.
My mum does it once a year to clean the freezer. She will unplug and leave it for at least an hour or so before she starts cleaning it up and leaving the door opens to air dry. The next day, she will plug it on and on the switch again.

Which do you prefer, Summer or Winter?Summer; most definitely. Swimming and bikinis on the beach become an everyday possibility. It's the season that causes the forest to grow green and full of life. I LOVE summer!
