My bathroom is 50 years old and has light blue tile with the trim a darker blue odd blue color....

The floor is the old small tiles of 2 shades of blue.  I can't afford to change the wall tiles, but want to redo the floors. Should I use white tiles or creamy tiles. The top half will be painted to work with the floor. I need help badly.

Use a darker blue, like navy with white trim.

If the choice is between white and cream, I'd say white.

However, if the fittings (sink etc.) are cream, as they often were 50 years ago, I'd go for cream.

The sink, stool and tub are all the little darker blue almost a bluish green color, I would say. Maybe ocean bluish green and that is the same as the blue tile border on the lighter blue tiles 1/2 way up the walls.   So, I can't use the darker blue floor like navy.

I would go with a bone white and use seashells for decorating since the blue is an ocean blue.

You can change your bathroom tiles and purchase new tiles from the Tile Supply company in the UK.
