    rebars in foundation having moisture come thur in basement. former owner did a cover up job in this

    with the thoughts because the gentleman that did the remodel look good plus a inspection with no majors ploblems has turn our home upside down for a year. Just small things have pop up but clearly the remodel man was a idot. First, double sinks in main bathroom fittings were not plumed correctly just tubes together that slowly made a bad smell under cabinet which was bad but fixed by my husband. second kitchen sink same problem again cabinet ruined underneath. now for the big stuff. laundry that was remodel they drow dry wall nails into piping which showed water a mold later which we fixed and

    My first question would be...Did you get the proper permits and did you actually do some background check on your Contractor. If the job was permitted then there would have been periodic inspections done by a building inspector. If you  did none of this than you must take responsibility for the mess.

    Trying to cut corners by not following the proper procedures and hiring someone incompetent to save money is wrong.

    I really don't understand the part about the inspection. Who did the inspection?
