i am trying to find out if either mac is...
the investor on my home loan. do you
the way to find out who holds your loan is through a securitization audit. You will know if your loan has been securitized (sold into a pool owned by wall street investors) if on your deed of trust it mentions a party like MERS is beneificary or trustee for investors of "XXXX Home Equity Loan Series (YEAR) - (number)" or something similar to that. If it does, then your loan has been securitized and your best option is to do a securitization audit.
This can be costly to get it done professionally, but if you join http://foreclosurefraudexposed.com you can find out how to do it yourself for free.
Hope this helps!
