What is killing our maple trees

We have silver and red maple trees through out our yard. In our back yard they all started out a little more sparce with leaves and the color were yellowish. about 2 months ago one of the Red maples leaves started curling up and falling off. The tree is complete bare now. Now the silver mape and the red maple to the side of it leaves have started curling up and falling off. These trees are all about 12 years old and have been very health . Help

There could be many things causing distress to your maple trees. It sounds like something has off-set their PH balance and is sucking minerals from the maples. It could be a fungus, a pest/bug of some sort, pollution from the air new fertilizers or even root rot.... It's definitely before the maples time if they are only 12 years old and have been healthy so far. Check the trees thoroughly for mold, mushrooms, bugs (especially spider mites) and anything else that might be apparent. You might also check any plants near by for the same "yellowing/dying" effect.
