What are the best vegetables to plant in your first garden?

If you are just starting out, which vegetables will be easy to grow?

Most vegetables are simple enough to grow as long as the site gets enough sunlight about 6-8 hours per day.  I suggest peas, beans, radishes and salad greens to get started.

Plant what you like and will eat.  I would start with tomatoes, peppers,  radishes, corn, etc.  It depends on you I guess!

I think the best vegetables to plant in your first garden would start with onions and garlic. These are very easy to grow and fairly heat resistant. Spinach is a very easy to grow vegetable as well. Green beans have always done very well for me and who can resist  planting some tomatoes. I have actually written a hub on this question, if you would like to read it. I hope I have been of some help. Have a great day! smile
