What do chocolate cherry tomatoes taste like?
If only they actually tasted like chocolate. . . I suppose you can dream, right? More or less, a chocolate cherry tomato is not much different in flavor than a regular variety cherry tomato. They're sweet, but sometimes a little smokey in flavor. Personally, I like the darker varieties of cherry tomatoes as they normally develop stronger and more complex flavor profiles.

The day I purchased my cherry tomatoes, they were green. It was a warm day and the darned things...ripened in the car. They went immediately into the refrigerator. Can I still can them as green or they too ripe - they are still firm and not full colored - some yellow, some pink. Helpppp...
