What have you (did you, or will you) prioritize when home-making?
I think the first think in home making is caring for the people within the home. It is important to keep the home clean and maintained, but I've had to learn that sometimes children need to take priority over the dishes in the sink (as long as the dishes get done at some point).
It has to be management of space and resources. A home will go through many stages and grow with children and the aged. I think it is important to keep a home clean and presentable within reason while providing places for kids to spreadout toys, crafts, and art projects, do homework, and entertain friends. It is also important for a home to be safe and accessible for those with physical limitations. Whatever the circumstances, it is my priority to make people feel comfortable and welcomed.
