What kind of peppers are these? What can I make with them?
I bought what I thought were 6 long red cayenne pepper plants and they turned out to be short (average 2 inches long) orange peppers. They are very hot but I don't know what they are and because I don't know what they are I'm not sure what to do with them!
They look like habenero peppers. You'll know if they have short bursts of intense heat. They're great for salsa for that very reason. Try roasting them over open flame for that "chipotlé" taste.
