I mean the one's that actually use a tealight candle, not the "warmer" kinds. I melt a chunk of unscented wax then add essential oils - that seems to work well. I don't know the flash point of essential oils so it's always been a concern of mine to just add the oils straight. What's your method?
I use these diffusers all the time. To a little herbal potpourri, I add water and a few drops of essential oil. It's all natural, and it smells wonderful! I have also just used water and added essential oils. Never had a problem with them.
Clover thanks for sharing your experience. Do you add the potpourri to the top as well? If it dried or fresh? Is it soaked in water or just sprinkled, or somewhere in the middle? I have all KINDS of herbs around here - might need a bigger diffuser!
I fill it to about half with herbs. Then add the water to the top. I use dried herbs. When using dried herbs, you don't have to add essential oils, but I like to. Once the herbs get squishy looking, I dump them out and start over.
