    An interesting question for you James on the subject of trees, have you ever wondered why there aren't fruit trees etc all over towns & cities?. :-)

      I wonder, but I guess most areas are occupied by buildings that's why.

    My favorite plant is the touch-me-not plant which is one of the few (if not the only one) that reacts to touch by withdrawing, specifically with its leavings curling inwards and closing up.

    Mine is the common cattail. It is one of the best and probably the most versatile  native edible plants.Way too much to tell, look it up you will be surprised!
