Can you identify these wild flowers?I've never seen these before, short (8 inch) spiky plants with blue flowers. Anyone have an idea what they could be?
This looks like Ajuga reptans, Vipers Bugloss.
Hi Alistair, I did some Googling and that seems to be a correct ID.This plant is also known as "Bugle"

I agree. Definitely Ajuga. I have some in the garden. Spreads like wildfire, but easy to pull up.
I pulled up some (I think this is a criminal offence!) and they're now going to end up in my herbaceous border!
