Is it normal for my Chrysanthemums to look like a mixture of other flowers in my garden?
I planted chrysanthemums, in with my other flowers, and the colors of my other flowers seem to be rubbing off on them. Is this normal, or will it cause them to die?
This is normal due to polenisation.Pigmentation from the other flowers won't do them any harm.I am not a plant expert but I did a one year botanics course and things like these happened when I planted bell peppers and chili peppers together-my bell peppers became surprisingly hot like chili peppers but besides that they did not die and nothing bad happened to them-It's just that the genes mixed.
