Milwaukee Fastback Flip Open Utility Knife

Updated on September 15, 2014

So you need a utility knife that is actually useful? This knife that will change how you work!

We have what you might call a handy family. My husband is a handyman, all three of my kids work with him & I frequently help him on large projects. When we met he had what I consider a useless clunky utility knife...I mean seriously the blade would pop out when slicing drywall...total junk. So then I found this groovy knife...I'll admit I'm a chick & I like shiny things...however this blade works one handed & with a quick push of the button it snaps out & locks. How cool is That!

So I got myself a new blade, I help enough & need some of my own gear...within a week he had to get one too. So I have to say they are awesome, stand up to constant drops, banging & twisting & neither has yet to break. Honestly I will never use another blade again, Milwaukee nailed it with this one!

The features are pretty simple, it has a wrist flick action which means you only need one hand free to open & close it...this alone would make this thing awesome. But the shell is a solid cast metal that is coated in red, after 18 months no paint is even chipping off (With daily use). It has a built in gut hook, wire stripping notch & belt clip that is tough but slim & out of the way of normal use.

Bottom line if you need a new utility knife...or just want to upgrade then this is the one for you.

This is just like the original but it has a feature to hold one additional blade. It's held in place with a magnet inside the handle. Perfect if you like to keep a spare blade.
