Can I Earn £1,000 A Month On The Internet

Updated on November 22, 2009

Is it possible to earn £1000 a month on the internet? I would like to find out if it is possible to make good money online so that I can go off on a holiday adventure without having to worry about how I am going to pay my mortgage.

At the moment I have been following the antics of a few bloggers and trying to learn from the work that they have achieved and the amount of money that they have made working on the internet.

I started creating and have seen a lovely leap in my adsense earnings. I am sure that if I continue to create more hubs I will make even more money. I have started creating a few infobarrels but my progress has been a little slower. I have had adsense clicks, which is good so I know that it is working. However I do worry about the fact that I do not own these sites so if Google decides that it doesn’t like hubpages or infobarrel for whatever reason, they could very easily disappear from the search engine. Scary.

That is why I am interested in creating my own websites.  I want to create lots of adsense sites as well as affiliate sites.  This way I can spread out my money making activities and make a living from different sources.

I keep wondering if I have the motivation to get the work done.  I already know that it isn’t difficult but it does take a hell of a lot of practice and time to get it right.  If I want to earn good money in the space of 6 months it means sacrificing a lot of things.  This could include meeting up with friends less etc.  However if my aim is to make £1,000 per month within this space of time then surely it is worth it.

I suppose it is a little difficult when there is no real support from friends and families. They don’t really have much of an idea about what making money online is so when I talk about what I am doing and what I am aiming for, I notice that their eyes tend to glaze over.  If you are not interested in this sort of thing, then it can sound boring I suppose.

So it is time to knuckle down and get to work.  I will continue to write more hubs for hubpages and will proceed to create my own websites that will hopefully get a good stream for visitors who will click on the ads or purchase products through the Amazon affiliate links.

It will be great to review my progress in six months time to see how well I have done and to find out for myself if it is possible to earn £1,000 a month on the internet.

Thank you so much for your comments.

I look forward to writing a hub for when I hit that £1,000 jackpot. I hope it will not be too far off.
