How To Make Money At Home In Your Spare Time

Updated on December 4, 2010

I am on a quest to make money at home in my spare time by working online. After reading lots of information from several sources I have put together a little schedule that I hope to follow in order to try and achieve my goal of making money online.

I want to make money from adsense clicks so the best way to do this is to find words that are either worth a lot of money per click or a word or phrase that has so many people using it that you could earn a lot of money due to the quantity of clicks.

Make Money With Hubpages

The first thing to do is to work out what are the best keyword phrases to use. These should be words that people tend to type into the search engines when they are looking for stuff. I will be using in order to find out what are goods keywords. This is one of the easiest ways to test because it doesn’t cost anything but the time it takes to research the topic of your article and then to write it.

Get Links With Other Article Sites

To give the hub some support I will then write an article for infobarrel and an article that I will publish on Ezine Articles.  This is one way to create an anchored link to my hubpage.  The more links you have to a hub, the more juice it has and the more chances there are that it will get into the higher ranks of the Google search engines. There are quite a few article directories to use so I will also republish my Ezine article on at least 10 other sites to create even more links.

Create Your Own Websites

Once I have written enough hubs I will be able to evaluate which ones are the most popular. This is the time to move on to creating my own websites for the good quality keywords phrases.

I will buy domain names that I contain the keywords and write a minimum of 4 posts with related words on my main subject. I like using wordpress as a blogging platform as I find it easy to work with so I will find a theme that is related to my keyword or just find something that is plain and simple.

I have read many comments that say that your site should look as plain as possible if you are looking to get people to click on your adsense links. They will not want to hang around an ugly looking site so will search for ways to leave. This will either be by exiting your site by closing it or by choosing to click on an ad. This is what we want visitors to do so the ads have to be as visible as possible.

If you are interested in finding out how to make money in your spare time at home you should first sign up with hubpagesand start writing.
