How I Make Money with MyPoints (I redeem $25 from time to time)

I just redeemed my $25 Macy's gift card from MyPoints.

What is MyPoints?

MyPoints is a reward network just like earning miles on an airline or getting cashback on a credit card. However, MyPoints offers many ways to earn points and redeem rewards from more than 75 merchants. Joining is free.

Is MyPoints legit or a scam?

I have been a member of MyPoints since 2003 and I have redeemed my points for Macy’s gift card worth $25 several times already. Actually, I can choose any participating merchant’s gift card but I prefer Macy’s where I shop often.

Ways to Earn Points with MyPoints

You can earn points for doing what you already do online like reading emails, shopping, playing games, searching the web, taking surveys or completing short questionnaires, registrations/signups/subscriptions, trial offers, share your opinions on products you use everyday, special deals, great offers, print and redeem MyPoints grocery coupons, and more.

To receive emails (called Bonus Mails) from MyPoints, you need to complete your profile and select categories of emails that you prefer to receive. You will earn up to 60 Points (one time) for completing your profile. A complete profile ensures that you receive the most relevant offers to your email inbox. The more categories you select, the more advertising emails you’ll get, hence, you earn more points. In my case, I chose all the categories for obvious reason.

You earn more points quicker with the MyPoints Toolbar. At first, you get 100 Points for downloading and installing the toolbar and make your first search. You get up to 75 points for searching every month.

Refer your friends and relatives and you will get 250 Points for each referral if they join MyPoints.

How to Redeem Points

Use your Points to choose and get gift cards or gift certificates from nearly 100 different popular or your favorite stores and restaurants, or enjoy gas cards, airline miles, and hotel discounts. Gift cards are quickly delivered to your door without shipping fee.

I recommend MyPoints if you want to make extra money and get paid in the form of gift card or certificate. This may not be a high-paying work-at-home job but you’ll earn something for your need.
