How to Retire by 35

Updated on January 7, 2011

Retiring before 35 is not easy but with some persistence and dedication you can make that a reality.  The tips your about to read come from several early retirees whom have used the advice to retire before 35.

Retire by 35

Retiring by 35 takes many things, here is a list to give you guidance:

1. Reduce Expenses - Reduce means to the bone, no extras in the early retiree budget, you should reduce your expenses to about 25% of your net income.

2, Save 75% - You heard that right, the successful early retirees save a whopping 50-80% of their net income.

3. Invest in Stocks and Real Estate - You  need to have your money working hard for you since you will be no longer working for money.

4. No Debt - Everything including the house, car and credit cards should be paid in full.

Retiree early takes a lot of sacrifice, sacrifice in buying and earning, etc.  If you have this much discipline it should be easy to retire young.  The list above will guide you to what is proven to work.
