Living Green Doesn't Have To Be Expensive

Updated on December 21, 2010

Living Green Is Easy

For less than the price of a Big Screen TV

. . . a Mediterranean Cruse, or a good Christmas party... you can live green. And what's better yet ... Living Green will pay you back.

That's right. It is estimated for every $1.00 you spend on prevention, you will SAVE $9 to $14.00 in medical costs PER PERSON, PER YEAR.

Time Is Money. How much time does it cost you to go for a doctor's visit? How much time do you spend driving, waiting, off from work? How much are you paying in co pay?

For a lot less than a used boat, ...a garden pond, ...a small vacation, . . . you could be living green.

There's no need to move, rebuild or even remodel.

  • Add a room ion air purifier
  • A natural water filter
  • Easy body cleansing and Better nutrition
  • Easy exercise
  • Better Sleep

....And you are set.

Even if you are poor, you can afford to live green. ---As a matter of fact, it may be more accurate to say... You Can't Afford NOT To Live Green!

Living Healthy

Either Pay It Or Collect It

Prevention Is Like Collecting Interest On Your Money

When you buy eco friendly products, you usually save money in the long run. But, have you though about the savings in health care cost? At a time where health care is on everybody's mind, prevention may be the real answer.

In Dean Ornish M.D.'s Newsweek article published in the April 24, 2008 issue, Dr Ornish said "Our "health-care system" is primarily a disease-care system. . . .95 cents of every medical-care dollar went to treat disease after it had already occurred. At least 75 percent of these costs were spent on treating chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes that are preventable or even reversible."

Dr. Ornish then told of a RAND study that was done projecting nearly $81 billion in annual savings due to prevention and disease-management programs.

You can read the whole article here: Yes, Prevention is Cheaper Than Treatmen

Saving Money

"A penny saved is a penny earned."

And who couldn’t use more money in today’s economy with high gas prices and low home prices.

Gretchen and Michael have 8 children. Four of them have severe allergies and breathing problems. They know first hand how important living green in a Wellness Home is.

FROM: mikengretchen@cox.net

We have 8 children and 4 of them had regular trouble with croup (4-6 times a year each)-we would often need to use the nebulizer & steroids to help them breathe so they could sleep. 8 of them had lots of allergy related problems and these would often turn into different complications and often infections. 1 was beginning to wheeze when he exercised. We got sleep systems for all of them and shortly afterward began using the PiMag countertop unit and showerhead. We had 2 instances of croup in the 1 1/2 years since we've gotten the sleep & water systems. Our family still has allergy sensitivities; but we don't get sick from them and rarely have colds; coughs; sore throats; ear problems; and headaches that accompany allergy symptoms.

We've only needed prescription medication a few times in the last 1 ½! (that's for a family of 10). Our son doesn't wheeze anymore when he exercises. It's gone.

Once he had some trouble breathing and he took a PiMag shower; drank some PiMag water; went to bed on his sleep system with a magnet on his chest and within 10 minutes of laying down the breathing problems were gone. We LOVE (-------) products!

Gretchen

Living Green

What is a Wellness Home??

A living green 'greenhouse' for you and your family to live and love in, that pays for itself and gives you peace of mind! Where wellness and heath practices create a Eco Friendly Way Of Life.

We may not be able to solve the world's pollution problems, but we can solve our own.

All we need to do is control the environment INSIDE our own homes by living green to create an environment for living healthy and happy. We can quarantine to keep contention and disease OUT and health and wellness IN.

Through our choices of music, books and choosing eco friendly products...we CAN affect the effects of today's toxic indoor pollution.

Common sense tells me that living green is good sense and pays off in the short run and the long run.

I agree! We can't afford to not live green. The health benefits are long term, not just temporary. The quality of life is raised (by going green), and while you might pay a slight bit more money on some things, many you'll pay less on, and see long term savings on health care and energy bills. All in all, you'll be healthier and be doing the environment a big favor.

We love our wellness home. We have the water, air, and shoes. Where we live the air is THE WORST in the nation - so the air purifier is a MUST. The water systems in our city are old, so the Water purifier is a MUST. The wellness concept has changed our family (for the better)!

I see no one has taken the time to comment.

If it is because you didn't find the answer you were looking for, let me give it to you here.

About $2000.00. Less than a second hand car.

I have seen it posted, but I can't remember where, that for every $1.00 you spend on prevention, you will save $9.00 in health care cost. --Now, that's a return on your money!

Living Green doesn't cost.... It pays.
