The most easy thing is losing money, the difficult thing is saving money to its value, and most difficult is making money.
This is sole reason why those who make money are rewarded in big way.
I would think making money is easier than saving because one has to have a little money in order to put it aside in savings. In today's economy neither is really easy though.
The Truth is none of these is easier now-a-days.
But if someone is dedicated and knows the value of money, then he/she may give the priority to save money what he/she is presently earning. Because the point here is no doubt making money now-a-days is tough because of competition, but one can save money by his will if he/she is dedicated to do so, then it will be easier.
I would say making money is easier than saving. Normally once you make money, you are tempted to spend the money and buy things that sometimes that you don't even need it.
But if someone really appreciate the effort of making the money, they would make a bigger effort to save money.
