      The best loan is one that has no prepayment penalty, low fixed rate, and one that doesn't use a large % of your income.  College loans are some of the worst loans you can take out.

   The best loan purpose is one for investment or to buy an asset of tangible value that won't be worthless before the end of the loan term.
   
   The best loan type is not neccesarily the lowest interest, it is a combination of interest and fees that suits the borrower best and enables them to spend less for the total cost over the life of the loan
