I GOT FIRED AND WANTED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO WITH MY 401 NOW
Sorry to hear this news but you have options on what to do with your 401k. Depending on the balance, many plans will allow you to keep it under your current platform. You also have the option of rolling it over to a new 401k assuming you have new employment that offers a 401k plan.
You can also establish an IRA Rollover where your assets can be rolled over into a discount brokerage firm and can either be self-directed or professionally managed.
I hope this helps and would be glad to answer any further questions.
