    Hi there, Unsungqueen84,

There is an old saying: "Empty vessels make the most noise."  It means, of course, that there is a tendency with people who know very little to tell the world what little they know- non-stop!

When you say a "lot of garbage on the radio" and say the same for bookshelves, I say yes to the former (that's why I listen mainly either to news-hours or the relaxful music of those stations that mostly play 'golden oldies.'   Surely you only need to turn the tuning knob, or press another button.   As for books: well, it's generally harder to get a book published that will be accepted by a bookshop, so you should do better there.
