I'd like to think 55; unfortunately, it may be closer to 68.

many people will not be able to retire due to the high cost of living and the low paying social security checks.

as soon as possible but for that i should have get all what i want in my life..(material and non material)
if that happen..i don't need to work ..just relax and enjoy the time..

Even that's sounds so rare due to social living needs now days.

I don't plan to...I love the work that I do, and by time I hit retirement age I will most likely be a widow and have to keep my days full anyway. My husband also has no plans to retire, but we've discussed him cutting back to part time when he turns 65 so he'll have more time to spend with me and the kids while he's still around...that's the biggest problem with a 27-year age difference wink.
