how many years do you have to wait to file bankruptcy if you have filed once before
I'm pretty sure its seven. If its not seven, then ten in my next assumption.
Bankruptcy is 10 years. Your Credit report for defaulted loans, late payments, etc. is 7 years.
If you file Chapter 7 and receive a discharge, you cannot file another Chapter 7 until 8 years after the first was filed, and you cannot file Chapter 13 until 4 years have passed after the first was filed.
